NCERT Recruitment 2024: The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) – National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has published the employment notification inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Academic Consultant, Bilingual Translator and Junior Project Fellow (JPF). According to the official notification of NCERT Recruitment 2024, The appointment will remain valid upto 31st March 2025. There are 30 vacancies opened for the mentioned positions.
The educational qualification and experience required are described below as per the posts. The applicants selected for the post of Academic Consultant will get a monthly salary of Rs. 60,000/-, the monthly salary for a Bilingual Translator is Rs. 30,000/- and the monthly salary for a Junior Project Fellow will be Rs. 31,000/- (for NET) and Rs. 29,000/- (for Non-NET).

Qualification Required for CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024
The educational qualification and experience required for applying for CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024 are listed below as per the posts:
- Academic Consultant:- The candidates should have a Post-graduation in relevant subjects from a recognized University/ Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
NET/ SET/ SLET Qualified OR exempted from NET as per UGC regulations for Assistant Professor at entry level. - Bilingual Translator:- The candidates should have a Master’s degree in any language mentioned in the official notification.
English as a subject at the Graduation Level.
Good typing skills in the respective language. - Junior Project Fellow (JPF):- The candidates should have a Master’s degree from a recognized University/ Institute in a relevant or allied subject with 55% marks or equivalent Grade.
Age Limit for NCERT Recruitment 2024
The age limit for applying for CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024 is as listed below according to the posts:
- Academic Consultant — Not more than 45 years/ in case of retired faculty members not more than 70 years (relaxation as per GoI norms).
- Bilingual Translator — Below 45 years (relaxation as per GoI norms).
- Junior Project Fellow (JPF) — Not more than 40 years (relaxation as per GoI norms).
Tenure of NCERT Recruitment 2024
The tenure for CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024, will be on a temporary basis. The selected candidates will be appointed up to 31st March 2025.
Salary for CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024
According to the official notification of CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024, the monthly salary for each post is listed below:-
- Academic Consultant – Rs. 60,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Bilingual Translator – Rs. 30000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Junior Project Fellow (JPF) – Rs. 31000/- (for NET qualified) Rs. 29000/- (for Non-NET qualified) (Consolidated)

Selection Procedure —
The CIET-NCERT Recruitment 2024 will conduct an interview to select the applicable candidates for the positions mentioned above. The candidates have to visit the interview venue with copies of original certificates and testimonials for verification. Latecomers will not be entertained by the committee.

Candidates will have to report for the interview on the fixed date and report latest by 9.00 a.m. to the Section Officer (SO), Planning & Research Division (P&RD), Room No. 242, CIET 2nd floor, Chacha Nehru Bhawan, CIET, NCERT, New Delhi-110 016 with copies of original certificates and testimonials for verification.
