Govt. Degree College Baramulla, an ‘A’ grade NAAC Accredited and CPE recognized institution, is seeking applications for the roles of Research Assistant and Field Investigator. These positions are part of a two-year ICSSR sponsored Major Research Project titled “Echoes of Prolonged Displacement: Understanding Support System, Resilience and Mental Health in Internally Displaced and Relocated Kashmiri Pandits.”
Project Duration:
The project will last for 02 years.
Available Positions:
- Research Assistant: 01 Vacancy
- Field Investigator: 01 Vacancy
Project Leadership:
The project will be directed by Dr. Kaiser Ahmad Dar and Dr. Rayees Ahmad Dar.
Essential Qualifications:
- Research Assistant: Candidates should hold a Ph.D., M.Phil., or be a Postgraduate in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55%. Familiarity with SEM/Path Analysis using IBM SPSS/AMOS and Scientific writing skills is required.
- Field Investigator: Applicants must have a Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline with at least 55%. Preference will be given to those with experience in data collection related to social sciences.
Stipend:
- Research Assistant: INR 37,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Field Investigator: INR 20,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Desirable Qualification:
Applicants with experience in Mediation / Moderation / Conditional Process Analysis will have an added advantage.
Duration of Position:
- Research Assistant: One year and can be extended up to an additional six months or until the project concludes, based on performance.
- Field Investigator: Six months and can be extended on the same terms as above.
