Islamia College of Science & Commerce Announces PG Admission for session 2024 check details

The prestigious Islamia College of Science and Commerce in Srinagar has recently released its admission notification for various postgraduate programs for the academic session of 2024. Eligible aspirants who have appeared in CUET (PG)-2024 can now apply online for admission into the respective domains offered by the college.

Key Programmes and Eligibility

The college has announced the intake for multiple PG courses as follows:

• Master in Chemistry
• Master in Botany
• Master in Zoology
• Master in Commerce
• Master in English

Admission Criteria

Candidates must have acquired at least 24 credits in core or generic elective courses at the undergraduate level. A minimum percentage of marks is required to be eligible for admission:

• 45% in aggregate for open merit candidates
• 40% for candidates from reserved categories

Admission to all these PG programs will be strictly based on the merit obtained by the applicants in the CUET (PG) 2024 test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Interested candidates must fill out the selection form online, upload the requisite documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph in JPG format (max 500 KB), and pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200/-(Two Hundred only) for each program.

• Category certificate (if any)

Selection and Merit List

The merit list shall be prepared after the final roll order is issued. In cases of tied merit, graduation marks and marks obtained at the 12th-grade level will be considered for tie-breaking.
