Air Force Group C Recruitment 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible and interested candidates for the Group C Posts (LDC, Typist, Driver). There are 182 posts available for the stated positions.
As mentioned in the notification the selection of applicants will be based on a written test/ physical test/ document verification and medical examination. The age limit mentioned is 18 – 25 years (age relaxation as per rules). The selected candidates will be paid a salary in the pay scale level 2, as per the pay matrix 7th CPC. The applicant must be a 10th / 12th pass as per post.
Interested and eligible candidates have to submit their application form in a prescribed format to the respective Air Force Station as per their choice. Required educational qualifications, eligibility and other important details, are given below in brief —

Eligibility Criteria for IAF Group C Recruitment
The required educational Qualification and Age Limit for IAF Recruitment 2024 is given below:-
Qualification
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th Pass + English Typing @35wpm or Hindi Typing @30wpm
- Hindi Typist: 12th Pass + English Typing @35wpm or Hindi Typing @30wpm
- Driver: 10th Pass + LMV and HMV Driving License + 2 Yrs. Exp.
Age Limit
The applicants who wish to apply and fulfill the qualification criteria, his/her age should be between 18 to 25 years old.

Selection Process
All applications will be scrutinized based on age limit, minimum qualification, documents, and certificates. Thereafter eligible candidates will be issued a call letter for a written test.
