DGCA Recruitment 2024: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released latest notification seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Consultant in different Departments. According to the official notification of DGCA Recruitment 2024, the last Date to apply online is 15th June 2024. There are 17 Vacant Posts available for stated positions. The chosen applicants will get a monthly remuneration up to Rs. 7,46,000/-.
The candidates must pass 10+2 or higher qualifications like Graduation or post-graduation etc. with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized Board or University or Institute. The upper age limit for applying for the given post will be 58 years for Consultant Dy. CFOI {(A) and 64 years for Consultant SFOI {(A), Consultant {FOI (A)} & Consultant {FOI (H)}. According to the official notification of RITES Recruitment 2024, the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria candidates can apply online through the official website and send the duly filled application form along with the relevant document to the mentioned address. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is looking for qualified candidates for the post of Consultant in different Departments. There are 17 vacant posts available for DGCA Recruitment 2024.
- Consultant [Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)] — 02 Posts
- Consultant [Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)] — 10 Posts
- Consultant [Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)] — 05 Posts
Qualification Required for DGCA Recruitment 2024:
As mentioned in the official notification required qualification for a consultant post is 10+2 or higher qualification like Graduation or Post Graduation etc. with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized Board or University or Institute.
- Consultant [Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)] — The candidates should have a Valid Indian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by DGCA on Civil aircraft used for Air Transport.
Pilot in Command Rating (PIC) on Civil aircraft used for Air Transport with All Up Weight (AUW) above 5700 Kgs. - Consultant [Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)] — The candidates Should have a Commercial Pilot’s Licence (Helicopter) issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation India with a current Pilot-InCommand rating on Civil Helicopter.
The candidates Should have a total experience of not less than 3000 hours, out of which not less than 1500 hours as Pilot-inCommand on helicopters.
The candidates Should have a Degree in Science from a recognized University or institute.
Age Limit for DGCA Recruitment 2024:
Based on the official notification for DGCA Recruitment 2024, the age limit for applying to given post is indicated below:
- The age limit is 58 years for Consultant {Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}.
- The age limit is 64 years for Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}, Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)}.

Tenure for DGCA Recruitment 2024:
The appointment for DGCA Recruitment 2024, will be initially for one year or till the Consultant (FOIs) attains the age of 65 years or till the Consultant (FOIs) remains eligible as per the eligibility requirements or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Salary for DGCA Recruitment 2024:
As mentioned in the official notification for DGCA Recruitment 2024, the chosen candidates will receive an amount listed below:-
- Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}: The chosen candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 5,02,800/-,
- Consultant {Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)}: The chosen candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 2,82,800/-,
- Consultant {Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)}: The chosen candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 7,46,000/-.

The applicants are required to fill up the Online Form by clicking on the Link given below. After successful submission of the online application, the applicants will receive a copy of the duly filled-in application form on the e-mail ID provided by them.
Applicants are required to take a print of that application form, paste their current photograph (duly sign it across) and sign the application (in the space provided) and self-attested photocopies of the documents in support of the essential requirements, by speed post/courier/ by hand in a sealed envelope to the given address on or before the closing date.
