Application for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (CUET UG) 2024 is currently ongoing. Eligible candidates can register for the national-level entrance test until March 26, 2024. The exams, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), are scheduled for May 2024.
Major Updates in CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern
Reduced Exam Time
- The overall exam duration has been shortened.
- There are three exam slots with varying durations:
- Slot 1: 120 minutes (2 hours)
- Slot 2: 120 minutes (2 hours)
- Slot 3: 180 minutes (3 hours)
New Courses
- Two new courses have been introduced: Fashion Studies and Tourism.
Changes in Subject-Specific Timings
- The exam duration for certain subjects has been adjusted.
- Notable changes in timings for subjects like Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, and more.
Selection of Subjects
- Candidates can now choose a maximum of 6 subjects from a total of options that include languages, domain-specific subjects, and a general test.
