The Higher Education Department of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir (U.T.) has announced that registration for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-2024 for undergraduate programs is now open. This registration is crucial for students who are appearing in the 12th class examination or have already passed it and are seeking admission to degree colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Important Details

The CUET-2024, conducted by the National Testing Agency, will serve as the mandatory entrance test for admissions into most degree colleges in the region. The Higher Education Department of Jammu & Kashmir urges students to adhere to the registration deadline of 26th March 2024, to avoid missing out on the opportunity to gain admission to their preferred college programs.

Students can register for CUET-2024 online by visiting the official CUET website. They are advised to carefully read the instructions and Information Bulletin before beginning the application process. The choice of programs and colleges should be made after consulting the program eligibility chart on the university to which the college is affiliated.

• Registration Period: 27th February to 26th March 2024 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Last Date for Fee Payment: 26th March 2024 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Correction in Application Form: 28th March to 29th March 2024 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Announcement of Exam City: 30th April 2024 onwards
• Date of Examination: Second week of May 2024
• Downloading of Admit Cards: To be announced later
• Display of Answer Keys & Responses: After the exams on the official website
• Declaration of Results: By 30th June 2024

Test Structure

The CUET-2024 will consist of two types of tests—a General Test and Domain Specific Tests. Candidates must appear in both depending on the chosen program.
