SSC MTS Recruitment 2024: The SSC MTS exam is a national-level examination administered by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial positions in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India. The SSC MTS Notification 2024 for the year 2024 will be posted on www.ssc.gov.in by 7th May 2024, as stated in the SSC Calendar 2024-25.

It is anticipated that there will be more openings this year than there were last year. Along with the SSC MTS Recruitment 2024, the officials will also issue the preliminary SSC MTS and Havaldar Vacancy 2024. The official SSC MTS Notification pdf will be made available online at www.ssc.gov.in, along with all the details.

Candidates who qualify for the multi-tasking staff (MTS) positions are appointed with a Pay Level-1 as per the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission. The salary structure for these positions includes a basic pay ranging from Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200, along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800. In addition to the MTS positions, the SSC also conducts the Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, in 2024. This examination provides employment opportunities for candidates who have passed the 10th grade.

Education Qualification Required for MTS Recruitment:
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2024 Exam.

Age Limit: Candidates for the SSC MTS must be between the ages of 18 and 25, while those applying for the Havaldar position must be between the ages of 18 and 27.

The following age relaxation is offered to candidates of reserved categories:
SC / ST – 5 years
OBC – 5 years
PwD (Unreserved)- 10 years
PwD (OBC)- 13 years
PwD (SC / ST)- 15 years
Ex-serviceman- 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date of receipt of online application.

Application Fee: The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2023 is Rs. 100/-. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2023 exam.

Salary for MTS & Havaldar:
The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff in Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1), a General Central Service Group „C‟ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories. According to the 7th pay commission, the in-hand SSC MTS salary lies in the range of 18,000/ to 22,000/ per month with a pay band of (Rs.5200 – 20200) depending of the job post and city allocated.

How to Apply: To apply for SCC MTS Recruitment 2024, involves the following procedure:

I. One-time Registration

• Step 1: To start with, click on the above-mentioned link to get redirected to the official page of SSC.
• Step 2: On the official page, you will find the “Register” button. Click on the button to start your SSC MTS 2024 Online Application.
• Step 3: In the first part of the registration process, you must fill in your General Details, such as, your name, Father’s name, Mother’s Name, Address, Contact Number, Email ID etc.
• Step 4: Click on Submit Button, you will get your application number and mail will be sent to the registered email ID with your login ID and Password.

II. Filling Online Application for the Examination

• Step 5: Login again with the Login ID and Password and continue with the process of the SSC MTS Online Application Process
• Step 6: In the second part of the Application Process, upload your recently clicked passport size photograph and signature in the required format
• Step 7: Fill in your education qualifications, and your choice of center and click on the submit button.
• Step 8: In the final step of the Application Process, you must pay the Application Fees for the SSC MTS 2024 Exam through the Online Mode of payment (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/NEFT etc.) or through an Offline Mode of Payment (E-Challan)
• Step 9: Click on the “SUBMIT APPLICATION” button. Your Online Application form will be successfully submitted.
• Step 10: Take a printout and save the pdf file of the SSC MTS Application Form for future reference.
