SAIL Recruitment 2024: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Manager & Deputy Manager Post. There are a total of 58 vacancies in various Disciplines. SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant is looking for energetic, focused, and talented people to join their team. Selection of the provisionally eligible candidates for the posts will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT) & Interview or Interview. The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of up to 2,20,000/- (Approximately Rs.24.4 Lakh per annum). Selection Process for SAIL Manager Recruitment 2024: The selection will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT) & Interviews.
i) Computer Based Test (CBT):
- Format: The CBT will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions divided into two segments:
- 50 questions on Domain / Professional Knowledge.
- 100 questions on the Aptitude Test.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must achieve a minimum of 50 percentile score for Unreserved posts and 40 percentile score for SCs/ST/OBC(NCL) posts.
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit, at a ratio of 1:3 for each post/discipline. If multiple candidates achieve the same cut-off marks, all of them will be called for the interview.
ii) Interview:
- Qualifying Marks: There is no specific qualifying mark for the interview if CBT is conducted.
- Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared by combining the marks of the CBT and Interview, with a weightage of 80:20 respectively.
- Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in the cut-off marks, the candidate with higher marks in the eligibility qualification will be selected.
iii) Selection Criteria for Interview Only:
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum qualifying marks will be 50% for unreserved posts and 40% for posts reserved for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates.
