Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Western Railway has invited online applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentice posts in various trades at Units/Workshops in the West Central Railway. This recruitment drive will fill up 3317 posts in the organization.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of West Central Railway at wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. As per the official Notification of Railway Recruitment 2024, the candidate must have passed the 10th or its equivalent for all trades and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Eligibility Criteria of Railway Recruitment 2024
The essential Educational Qualification and age limit required for the Apprentice Posts is listed below;
- Qualification: Candidate must have passed the 10th or its equivalent for all trades except Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology), candidates must have passed the 12th class examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and Also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Age Limit: The age limit of the candidates should be between 15 years to 24 years of age as on August 5, 2024. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, and 03 years in the case of OBC candidates.

Selection Process
Selection will be done based on a merit list prepared in respect of all the eligible candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared based on average marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent plus ITI/Trade marks for all the eligible candidates.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 141/- for all candidates and Rs. 41/- for SC/ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Women candidates.
