 PMSSS:This scheme has been introduced by government of India. The Prime Minister of India special scholarship scheme (PMSSS) also known as AICTE JK Scholarship, is a scholarship program initiated by the All India Council for Technical (AICTE).

Under the Ministry of Government of India. It aims to financially support talented students from Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and Ladakh to pursue higher in professional and technical fields across India.

Eligibility Criteria For PMSSS Scholarship 2024:

Eligibility criteria for PMSSS Scholarship 2024.

Domicile:

• You must be a permanent resident of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.

Educational Qualification:

• You should have passed Class 12th from JKBOSE or CBSE affiliated schools located in J&K and Ladakh.
• For lateral entry (admission in second year) you must have a Diploma in Engineering from a Polytechnic Institute recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education.

Entrance Exams For PMSSS:

• You need to qualify for national level entrance exams like NEET (medical courses), JEE (engineering courses), CLAT (law), etc. Depending on your chosen field of study (except for medical courses).

Family Income:

• Your family annual income from all sources should be less than or equal to ₹8.00 lakh.

How To Apply For PMSSS Scholarship 2024:

1. Visit the Official Website:

• Go to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) website.

2. Find the PMSSS Registration:

• Look for the “PMSSS” section on the website. It might be under a specific bureau or scholarship section.

3. Register Online:

• Click on the “PMSSS Registration” or similar tab.
• Choose the appropriate registration option based on your qualification (e.g 12th Registration for students entering after Class 12th).
• Fill out the online registration form with details like name, contact information, and domicile.
• Create an account with a username and password for future logins.

4. Log In and Complete Application:

• After registering, log in with your details
• Fill out the complete application form carefully.
