The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the exam date for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for the year 2024. It will conducted in in pen and paper mode across 13 languages.

EET (UG) serves as a common and uniform entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions in India for courses such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH. The NEET 2024 examination is scheduled for May 5, 2024.

The NEET 2024 admit card will be made available on the official NTA NEET website a few days before the examination date. Candidates will need to download it using their registered login credentials.

The online application process began on February 9, 2024, with a submission deadline extended to March 16, 2024. This exam is open to Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals.

Exam Schedule

The NEET 2024 examination is scheduled for Sunday, 5th May 2024. The duration of the examination is 3 hours 20 minutes. As for the timing, the examination will start at 02:00 PM and conclude at 05:20 PM, following Indian Standard Time.

Paper Pattern

  • The NEET 2024 exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • The total marks for the exam are 720.
  • The duration of the exam is 3 hours 20 minutes.
  • For every correct answer, candidates are awarded +4 marks.
  • Each incorrect answer results in a -1 mark (negative marking) deduction.
  • No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.
  • From section B, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions out of 15.

NEET UG 2024 Admit Card Details
