J&K Powergrid Recruitment 2024: Powergrid Corporation of India has invited online application forms from bright, committed, energetic and experienced Degree / Diploma candidates for the recruitment of Field Engineer & Field Supervisor positions on a fixed tenure basis. There are 50 vacant posts available for stated positions.
As mentioned in the short notification the commencement date of online application is 05th August 2024. Applications are invited for Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) Works in UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

PGCIL invites online applications from candidates having a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Discipline for the post of Field Engineer & Field Supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria of PGCIL Recruitment 2024
The required qualification, experience and age limit mentioned in the notification of PGCIL is mentioned below:-
Qualification
- Field Engineer: Full-time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates.
- Field Supervisor: Full-time Diploma in Electrical discipline or equivalent with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS/ST and pass marks for SC/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates

Age Limit
As mentioned in the official notification released by PGCIL the Upper Age as of 19.08.2024 for Field Engineer & Field Supervisor is 29 years.
Salary
- Field Engineer: The selected applicant will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 30,000 -3%- 1,20,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks. Perks @ maximum 35 % of basic pay.
- Field Supervisor: The selected applicant will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 23,000 -3%- 1,05,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 23,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks. Perks @ maximum 35 % of basic pay.
Application Fee
If you are not exempted from payment of application fees (only SC/ST/ PwBD/ Ex-SM candidates are exempted), you are required to log into your candidate login section and then deposit non-refundable application fees of Rs. 400/- (Field Engineer) & Rs. 300/- (Field Supervisor) through online mode. On submission of application fees, your application process will be treated as complete.
Selection Process
Selection will involve Interview only, of the eligible and shortlisted candidates. However, the Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/ criteria and/ or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, if so required.
The screening test, if conducted, shall be for elimination purposes only and will not have any weightage in final merit. Candidates who qualify in the screening test will be shortlisted and called for an interview based on their performance in the screening test.
