The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried male and female candidates to join as Sailors under the Sports Quota Entry for the 02/2024 batch.

Disciplines:

Male Candidates:

Athletics, Aquatics, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Equestrian, Football, Fencing, Artistic Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Squash, Golf, Tennis, Kayaking & Canoeing, Rowing, Shooting, and Sailing.

Female Candidates:

Athletics, Aquatics, Artistic Gymnastics, Boxing, Fencing, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Kayaking & Canoeing, Rowing, Shooting, and Sailing.

Eligibility:

For Shooting discipline, only the top 50 athletes in Olympic events, as per the latest National ranking, are eligible to apply.
For Sailing, only medalists at International/Senior Nationals in the 49er and 49er FX classes of the boat are eligible.

Important Dates:

Last date for receipt of applications: 20th July 2024.
For candidates from North East, J&K, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep & Minicoy Islands: 25th July 2024.

Educational Qualification: 10+2 Qualified

Direct Entry Chief Petty Officer (DE CPO) Sports Entry:

Age: Born between 01 Nov. 1999 to 30 Apr. 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: 10+2 Qualified
