Army public school Recruitment 2024 Notification Out :The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has released a short notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for recruitment of Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Army Public Schools (APS) across India. AWES is going to conduct the Online Screening Test (OST) 2024 for the recruitment to the posts of PGT, TGT and PRT Teachers in Army Public Schools.
As mentioned in the official notification of AWES Recruitment 2024 the online applications for AWES 2024 will be made from 9th September to 25th October 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online for Army Public School Recruitment 2024 from the website awesindia.com. Candidates selected for Teaching positions will be paid a monthly pay scale of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/- with an additional Grade Pay of upto Rs. 4800. The selection of applicants will be based on a Online Screening Test (OST).

Eligibility Criteria of AWES Recruitment 2024

Application Fee of AWES Recruitment 2024
To complete the AWES Army Public School Application Form 2024 applicants have to pay an application fee. Interested candidates applying for PGT, TGT, and PRT posts are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 385/-.
Selection Process of AWES Recruitment 2024
The selection of the candidates for Postgraduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Primary Teacher (PRT) posts will be based on the following stage.
- Online Screening Test (OST): The AWES Online Screening Test will be held in online mode consisting of multiple choice questions. The candidates must pass OST to get selection for the post of a teacher, (regular & fixed term). The OST scorecard is valid for a lifetime.
(i) Regular candidate; Within two years of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 50% ( 100 marks).
(ii) Fixed Term candidate; Within one year of being appointed with a minimum overall raw score of 40 % ( 80 marks). - Interview: The shortlisted candidates in the OST exam will be called for an interview depending on the number of vacancies available and the location of employment. Candidates who apply for the Regular Post are interviewed by a ‘Central Selection Board’ (CSB). Candidates who apply for the post of a teacher under ‘Fixed Term’ employment are interviewed by a ‘Local Selection Board’ (LSB).
- Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: For Language teachers, a written test comprising an essay and comprehension of 15 marks each would be held along with the evaluation of teaching skills. The Selection Committee may also hold computer proficiency tests if they so desire.

Step 2: Click on the link for “OST (ONLINE SCREENING TEST) for Recruitment of Teachers in Army Public Schools.
Step 3: Register and Log in with your ID and password to proceed.
Step 4: Enter the required details such as Name, Gender, Age, Contact Number, and Category in the prescribed format.
Step 5: Pay the examination fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net-banking.
Step 6: Upload required documents:

Passport-sized Photograph (jpg or png, Maximum 50 KB).

ii) Proof of Date of Birth.

AWES 2024 Exam Pattern
The recruitment process for Army Public School PRT TGT PGT 2024 comprises three phases: i) Screening Exam, ii) Interview, and iii) Assessment of teaching skills and computer proficiency. The Online Screening Exam will be administered in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and will include multiple-choice questions.
