J&K Anganwadi Worker Recruitment: The Child Development Project Officer of Poshan Project Kalakot has recently released a notification regarding the recruitment under Phase-II of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for the remaining vacancies as of March 31, 2023, in different Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Kalakot.
Eligible candidates are invited to submit their applications on the prescribed proforma for the position of Anganwadi Workers in the Anganwadi Centres of the POSHAN Project Kalakot.

Eligibility Criteria
It is essential for all prospective candidates to have a thorough understanding of the eligibility requirements for Anganwadi Jobs Recruitment 2024 in order to prevent their applications from being rejected. - Educational Qualification: The minimum requirement for Anganwadi Workers is a 10+2 qualification, while the maximum qualification is graduation. If there are no candidates with a 10+2 qualification available in the ward, candidates from the adjoining ward who have passed 10+2 will be considered. However, this decision will require prior approval from the Mission Director of Mission POSHAN J&K.
- Age Limit: Applicants aged between 18 and 37 years will be eligible for the positions of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers.
Selection Process
The Anganwadi Workers Jobs 2023 Selection Process comprises of the following criteria:
- The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, and the candidates will be chosen solely on their academic merit. There will be no interview conducted as part of the selection process.
- If an eligible candidate is a family member of a retired AWW, they will receive an additional two percent points, qualifying them for the selection process.
- Candidates with qualifications higher than graduation will not be taken into consideration for the selection process.
Steps to Apply J&K Anganwadi Worker Recruitment
Please ensure that your application is submitted in the prescribed format (enclosed as Annexure A) and is complete in all respects. Along with the application, please include self-attested copies of the following documents:
- Domicile Certificate.
- Date of birth certificate.
- Academic qualification Certificates with marks sheets.
- Copy of the updated valid voter List containing the name of the applicant in the concerned panch ward.
- Unmarried certificate, issued by the concerned Tehsildar, if the candidate’s name appears in the voter list along with her parents.
- Copy of Ration Card (e-Ticket only).
- Affidavit, as per the provided format (Annexure-B).
- Proof of being from the family of retiring AWW/AWH.
- Passport-size photograph. 10) Aadhar Card/Voter ID.
