The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has release the CBSE 12th Result 2024 online through its official website, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in TODAY, i.e. May 13, 2024.
The board has informed that 1633730 students registered for this year’s Class 12 board exam, of whom 1621224 appeared and 1426420 have passed the exam.
The overall pass percentage in Class 12 is 87.98 per cent, which is an improvement from last year’s 87.33 per cent.

CBSE Result 2024: According to the official result portal of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the CBSE 10th and 12th results of 2024 are expected to be released after May 20. Students who appeared for the CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 Exams 2024 can check and download their results from the official website at cbse.gov.in or results.cbse.nic.in.
To check CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 exam results, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the official CBSE website: cbseresults.nic.in or results.cbse.nic.in.
- Look for the section titled “Examinations/Board Result 2024” on the homepage.
- Select the appropriate link for either Class 10 or Class 12 Board results for the year 2024.
- A new window will appear, prompting you to log in. Enter your roll number, school number, and security PIN.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Your CBSE exam results for Class 10 or Class 12 will then be displayed on the screen.
- Feel free to download the result and keep a printed copy for future reference.
Students can access their results via CBSE’s official website cbse.nic.in, DigiLocker, SMS, and the Umang App.
How to access CBSE Board results DigiLocker codes 2024?
- Go to cbse.digitallocker.gov.in.
- School Login: Enter the required credentials and select ‘Login as School’.
- Download Codes: Choose ‘Download Access Code file’ from the options.
- For Class 10: Click on ‘Download Access Code for Class X’.
- For Class 12: Click on ‘Download Access Code for Class XII’.
- Once downloaded, schools can share the Access Codes with students
You will need a Digilocker account to access your results. Here is how to make it
- Get the 6-digit access code from your school. Contact your school’s administrative office for the same
- Go to https://digilocker.gov.in or download the DigiLocker app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Enter the 6-digit access code provided by your school. If your access code has only 5 digits, add a zero at the beginning to make it a 6-digit number.
- Make sure the details on DigiLocker match your school records
- Enter your mobile number. You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on this number; enter this OTP to verify your phone and authenticate your account setup.
- Once your mobile number is verified, your DigiLocker account will be activated.

The way to check the CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2024 via SMS is:
- Step 1: Open the SMS app on your phone.
- Step 2: Type cbse10 (roll number) (date of birth) (school number) (centre number) for class 10th and type cbse12 (roll number) (date of birth) (school number) (centre number) for class 12th. {Date of Birth format – DDMMYYYY}
- Step 3: Send to 7738299899.
- Step 4: The CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2024 will be displayed on your phone screen.
- Step 5: Take a screenshot and save it for future reference.
